Make every outfit something that reflects you and your personality. Yes, you can wear navy and black together! Brown and black are good too. The textures should be distinct, e.g. shiny and soft. Bold accessories help anchor lively patterns like a bold color purse. Winter white is still in; try layering, wear dark tights for example. If wearing a bold colored dress, just keep accessories to a minimum. Intense Colors Are In

Intense neon colors in clothing are natural complements to navy and neutrals. Polka-dot clothing is in and being paired with other patterns. Mixing patterns in clothing can be too busy for the eye and hard to put together for some people. My advice would be that if you want to wear an intense color say in a blazer, keep the blouse or top neutral then pair bright colored necklaces and earrings instead like the necklace below from my collection.
